Religious Obsession

Our main character, Ali, grew up in a religious family and is an individual firmly attached to his religious beliefs. However, this intense devotion to his religion has triggered his obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The film conveys Ali's daily life, his religious rituals, and how he turns these rituals into obsessions to the audience. Ali lives with the fear that failing to perfectly perform his religious rituals will incur God's wrath. This situation reduces his quality of life and negatively affects his social relationships.

The film was shot in many different cities in Turkey. In addition to large cities like Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, shootings were also made in smaller cities where religious communities are intense.
