A Light Touch on the Surface of Years

Produced by Fruit Chan and written and directed by Siu Koon-ho, this film tells the story of two lovers brought together by fate but unable to be together. Starring veteran actors Cecilia Yip and Tse Kwan-ho, the film tells the story of Andrew, who left his wife to pursue his career in the mainland in the 90s, and Sabrina, who tries to accept the separation she experienced with him and move on with her life. However, Sabrina's new life is turned upside down when she learns that Andrew has a serious illness. The film offers an impressive drama about separation, acceptance, the cruelties of life and the power of love.
