Alice's Struggle

Alice, 16, joins animal rights activists to save a calf.

Alice is a 16-year-old girl who is sent to live with her grandparents in the countryside by her father Joscelin after the death of her mother. There, she feels love for a young calf that will soon be slaughtered. Alice, who risks everything to save the calf, joins a group of animal rights activists. Alice's journey is filled with all the passions and extremes that come with her young age. However, during this journey, she never thought that this fight for the animals not to suffer could be an opportunity to mend her relationship with her father.

The film beautifully displays both the idealism and passion of young people and the complexity and sensitivity of family relationships. Alice's relationship with her father Joscelin is portrayed in a realistic and touching way that the audience can empathize with.

The film was shot in rural areas of France. Therefore, you can see magnificent landscapes of nature throughout the film.
