Nejma is a young and ambitious woman living in Camargue, France. Her dream is to win the local bullfighting contest. However, after being injured by a bull during a celebration, she begins to notice disturbing changes in her body and behavior. Alongside these changes, the community is shaken by terrifying news of young men being killed and an aggressive bull being blamed. There are parallels between Nejma's own changes and the fear experienced by the community.
