Architecton

The idealistic architectural journey of Michele De Lucchi and the impact of concrete on our world.

In the film "Architecton", we follow the disappointing journey of idealist architect Michele De Lucchi. De Lucchi is an idealist who shows his belief in the good of humanity through his structures. However, he is forced to design soulless skyscrapers in today's world. Architecture made of concrete is not only ugly and polluting the environment, but also has an average lifespan of only 40 years. Russian documentary filmmaker Viktor Kossakovs- ky is drawing the portrait of a representative attempting to challenge humanity's ruthless war against nature. In impressive nature shots, we follow the life cycle of stones that start in nature and end in a landfill. This film offers a journey that will attract the attention of viewers.

The film allows the viewer to question the impacts of architecture and material usage. De Lucchi's idealism and his stance against concrete make the viewers think and affect them.

The film was shot in various locations that highlight the contrast between spectacular natural landscapes and concrete buildings.
