On the hottest days of the summer, 18-year-old Cécile is vacationing on the French coast with her handsome father Raymond and her young girlfriend Elsa. Their peaceful and bohemian life changes with the arrival of Anne, a close friend of Cécile's late mother. Anne is authoritarian and disciplined by nature. Her arrival threatens Raymond's free lifestyle and Cécile's youthful ease. Anne's plans to marry Raymond will change Cécile's relationship with her father.
