"Broken Hearts and Lost Hopes" tells the story of a man going through perhaps the most difficult moment of his life. The man is shaken by a concrete and terrifying diagnosis from a doctor. This diagnosis turns all his plans for the rest of his life upside down. Upon returning home, he learns that his wife has cheated on him. This becomes the second of two major blows in his life.

The film narrates how the protagonist copes with these two major disappointments and reshapes his life. The viewers are expected to feel the pain and challenges the protagonist goes through and accompany him on this difficult journey.
