Cangshan

Cangshan tells the story of a young woman fleeing from her husband and past whom she left many years ago. While doing housework in Shanghai, she also takes care of her dementia-stricken mother and her rebellious son who is heartbroken. After experiencing the hardships of living in a foreign land, she decides to return to her hometown, Cangshan. However, she is shocked to see that the name of her hometown has been changed.

In this film, there is an elderly person who forgets the past, a child questioning the future, and a mother rejecting the present. The survival story of these three generations in a foreign land and their search for spiritual freedom is presented to the viewers.
