A skeptical priest from the Vatican goes to the south of the Netherlands, the Limburg region, to investigate a miracle and encounters unexpected events.


Filippo, a character mix of a detective, a scientist, and a priest, is sent from Rome to a small town in the Netherlands to investigate a miracle. His target is a statue of the Virgin Mary in the town, believed to create miracles. However, a tragic community and a mysterious mute young woman that Filippo encounters during this mission begin to question his worldview.
