20-year-old Charlie is a finance student who returns to the family farm in Virginia to help her sick mother, Laura. Laura runs a chicken farm and has a different perspective on life. After a long time, Solange, Laura's mother and Charlie's grandmother, comes to the farm. Solange was just a child when she left America and therefore they have seen each other very little. Solange is a French, feminist, and eccentric woman. Now these three different women have to learn to live under the same roof. The film attracts the audience's attention by presenting humorous and touching moments together. The film offers a remarkable look at motherhood, family, and generational differences.
