Gost Cat Anzu

Abandoned by her father, 11-year-old Karin lives in a temple in rural Japan with her grandfather. Her grandfather assigns her a giant "ghost cat", Anzu, who is known for being famously lazy. Karin sabotages the strange jobs Anzu does for the townsfolk out of distrust for her new guardian, and makes friends with eccentric local forest spirits. In his efforts to win over Karin, Anzu accidentally makes a deal with a devil, and hell breaks loose. The film narrates how Karin and Anzu will extricate themselves from this complicated situation. The shooting was done in rural areas and temples of Japan.
