"iHostage" is based on a true story, about a dramatic hostage crisis that took place at an Apple Store in the heart of Amsterdam. An armed man storms the store and takes the customers inside hostage. While most of the employees and customers manage to escape, four people hide in the warehouse and are not among the hostages. A Bulgarian customer stands out and becomes the center of our story. While the police work meticulously to control the situation and keep the hostages safe, there are moments when the armed man becomes increasingly unpredictable. Viewers will hold their breath as they watch the resolution of the hostage crisis and what happens through the eyes of the police, the hostages and the criminal. The film takes place in a highly tense atmosphere and shows the audience the inside story of a real event.
The film was shot in a location in the center of Amsterdam, which is the store of the world-famous technology company Apple.
