Jason and His Imaginary Escapes

Jason finds his escape in his surreal world from the traumatic events he experiences.

After an attempt at suicide, young Jason spends his summer at his grandmother’s house. Every week, he rides in a taxi driven by Agatha to go to his physiotherapy sessions. However, Jason concocts a new life for himself inside the taxi to forget his tragic past and the realities of the accident he lived through. During this time, the line between Jason's imaginary world and real life increasingly blurs. This story confronts the harsh realities of trauma and loneliness while narrating the power of imagination and the allure of escape.

The film offers viewers an emotional journey and invites them to get lost in Jason's imaginary world. Viewers will be moved by the hardships Jason endures and how he copes with them.

The film was shot in a pastoral landscape where Jason's grandmother's house is located.
