The film "Kraken" is about the mysterious disappearance of the Russian submarine "Belgorod" and the search for the submarine commander Viktor Voronin. Voronin's brother Alexander is the commander of the lost submarine and this becomes his personal mission. However, during the disappearance of the submarine, a giant Kraken monster awakens, affected by the destruction of the polar station. This giant creature becomes the biggest threat to Voronin and his team participating in the search for the submarine.
The film impresses the audience by taking them into the dark depths of the icy seas and drawing them into a tight thriller, action and adventure story. The ambition and courage of the character Viktor Voronin to find his brother plays an important role in the film.
