La Dégustation

"Tasting Workshop" tells the story of Jacques, a wine shop owner who reflects the world he lives in and his lifestyle, and Hortense, a charitable woman. Jacques is an introverted, grumpy man who works in a wine shop and fights against the challenges life presents him. Hortense, on the other hand, is a woman dedicated to charity, sharing her loneliness with her cat and the meals she makes for the homeless at the local church. Their paths cross when Hortense enters Jacques' shop to buy a bottle of wine. As a result of this encounter, Hortense decides to explore Jacques' world and attends a wine tasting event. Over time, they get closer to each other, but their pasts are following them.

The film successfully reflects the depths of the characters and their emotional journeys. It both saddens and makes the audience smile. Especially the conflicts and resolutions Hortense and Jacques go through while trying to understand each other deeply affect the audience.

The film was shot in a magical town in France. This town adds a charming atmosphere to the film.
