A young Rosa, who escaped from bombed Berlin in 1943, discovers Hitler's headquarters in a mysterious village where her husband is at the front and where she takes refuge until the war ends.


The film tells the story of young Rosa, who escapes from bombed Berlin in the autumn of 1943 to a small, isolated village near the eastern border. This is where her mother-in-law and father-in-law, who have been sent to the front, advise her to take refuge until the war ends and she can return. Rosa discovers a secret of this seemingly sleepy village: in the forest surrounding the village lies Hitler's headquarters, the Wolf's Lair.

The film tells Rosa's struggle to solve this mystery and survive, while immersing the audience in the brutal and tense atmosphere of the World War II period. The film presents its audience not only a historical period, but also a woman's courage, resilience and struggle to survive.

The film was shot in different parts of Germany. The forest scenes and village scenes in particular were shot to attract the attention of the audience.
