Louise Violet
At the end of the 19th century, Parisian teacher Louise Violet is sent on a mission to the French countryside. Since the pace of rural life depends on the seasons, the soil, and the harvests, she must first get families to agree to send their children to school. With the help of the mayor, she is gradually accepted by the families and their children. However, her past soon catches up with her. Despite the obstacles she faces, Louise Violet continues to practice her belief that education is the key to freedom. However, she has a tragic secret that causes her to question her fight for education. This film offers a deep perspective on education and freedom.
