New Face of Spring

New Face of Spring tells the story of Isaku, a young yakuza member. Isaku is the grandson of the third generation leader of the Senagaki family and therefore a person feared by those around him. However, Isaku's greatest desire is to make normal friends with spring and embark on a normal love. For this reason, he enrolls in a high school far from his hometown. However, Utou Keiya, the protective young leader of the Senagaki family, enrolls in the school with Isaku in an unusual way to protect him. Although Keiya thinks Isaku is not ready for love, Isaku has had an unrequited love for him for a long time. The film tells the story between these complicated feelings and the turmoil of the yakuza world. The locations where the film was shot offer a realistic depiction of the Japanese yakuza world.

The film's audience followed this story with great interest, which offered an unusual perspective on the yakuza world. Especially the complicated relationship between Isaku and Keiya made the audience even more interested in the film.
