Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom
Momonga, who has been playing his favorite MMORPG game for 12 years, teleports to the game world for the last time and begins to play there forever. Throughout his adventure, his avatar transforms into the Sorcerer King, Ains Ooal Gown. The Holy Kingdom, once prosperous but now on the brink of destruction, had lived in peace for years after the construction of a giant wall that protected them from neighboring invasions. However, this peace ends the day when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth brings an army filled with malevolent half-humans. The neighboring region of Slane Theocracy, fearful of an invasion of their own lands, is forced to beg their enemies, the Sorcerer Kingdom, for help. Momonga, now known as Sorcerer King Ains Ooal Gown, hears the call and rallies the Sorcerer Kingdom and his immortal army to join the battle with the Holy Kingdom and Slane Theocracy in the hope of defeating the Demon Emperor.
The film has a strong cast of characters that captivate the audience and a stunning narrative. As viewers watch Momonga's adventure in the magical universe, they forget their own realities.
The film was shot mostly in a virtual world called Yggdrasil.
