Promise Was Made to You
"Promise Was Made to You" narrates the occurrences following a terrorist attack organized against Taira, a young actress, by Muslim extremists who escaped from the Aktau city prison. Unable to shake off the shock of the terrorist attack, Taira goes to her brother who lives on the coast of the Caspian Sea. There, she meets Marius, a European ornithologist. While helping him photograph birds, she falls in love with him. However, she is unaware that Marius is the leader of the terrorists. When the hands of the man she loves are stained with her brother's blood, her heart breaks and she is forced to make the most difficult choice of her life. This film tackles the complexities of love, betrayal, family, and personal choices.
