Protected Men

A virus breaks out, affecting only men, greatly increasing their sexual urges, and resulting in their deaths. A war between the sexes is inevitable.

On the eve of the upcoming elections, Germany is faced with a virus outbreak that affects only men, increases their sexual urges excessively, and leads to death. This situation makes a war between the sexes inevitable. Anita and Sarah, aiming to establish a feminist party, are after high political goals like ecology, equality, and sustainability. On the other hand, the intentions of the men affected by the virus are generally less honorable. Results: Sexual obsessions, harassment, and death. Efforts to develop a vaccine against this situation accelerate. However, the main question is: Should the male gender really be saved? The film, adapted from Robert Merle's novel of the same name, deals with a political satire that will deeply affect viewers.

Viewer experiences generally focus on power balances in the film and the war between genders. While addressing important issues such as sexual harassment and moral values, the film stimulates viewers' emotional and intellectual responses.

The film was shot in Germany.
