Strange Tales

"Strange Tales" brings together four stories set in Oakland in 1987. The first story tells the story of punk youth defending their territory from Nazi skinheads. With their energetic and rebellious spirit, these youth fight for their own territory. The second story tells the story of a rap duo fighting for hip-hop immortality. Music shapes their lives, and the duo struggles to achieve their dreams despite all the odds. The third story is the redemption story of a henchman. After years of serving in the criminal world, he is now tired and looking for a chance to fix his life. The last story is the revenge story of an NBA All-Star. He returns to ask for accountability for the injustices he suffered in the past.

The film tells viewers about inequality, justice and the struggle for survival through four different stories. The unique story of each character and the realistic emotional experiences presented to the audience make the film quite impressive.
