The Price of Dreams


The lives of Choi, a taxi driver who is constantly sleepless and Dr. Man, a psychiatrist, are intertwined with a dark past.


At the center of the film are Choi San-keung, a taxi driver who is constantly sleepless and endangers all his customers with this condition, and Dr. Man, a psychiatrist. Dr. Man is one of the passengers in Choi's taxi and offers to help him after surviving this dangerous journey. Choi rejects this offer, but one night he unwittingly becomes Dr. Man's patient. Dr. Man has his own problems. He sees disturbing dreams about his mother and there are hints that he has a secret about his father. Both Dr. Man and Choi San-keung are characters tortured by their dark pasts, and accepting these memories is the key to solving their current problems.

As for the audience's experience with the film, the film's dark atmosphere and the characters' inner conflicts deeply affected the audience. The storyline, which gradually reveals Choi and Dr. Man's past, especially kept the audience glued to the screen.
