Imaginary Youth is a documentary-style film directed by Ruxandra Gubernat. The film focuses on three teenagers in their final years of high school facing the Covid-19 crisis. Una, an actor, Habet, a trapper, and Stefania, an environmental activist, encounter personal dramas and dilemmas as they try to understand what is happening and growing up. They all plan to leave Romania after graduating from high school, but the coronavirus crisis is affecting their plans and lives. The film showcases how these teenagers deal with the crisis and what they experienced at this turning point in their lives. Viewers can see the personal experiences of these teenagers and how Covid-19 affected them. The film was shot in Romania.
