At the beginning of the school year, 13-year-old Ben notices how much his classmates have changed due to the effects of puberty. Claire, in particular, is now very beautiful in his eyes. Ben wants Claire to notice him, but his weight and the concerns of the school nurse make this difficult. Ben, who loves to cook, enters a long and challenging diet process to lose weight. He takes the support of his crazy family and friends like Claire, Eric, and Sonia to resist the bullying of Max and his gang. Together, they form a group for the Christmas show to be held at the end of the year. In this process, they all learn to become adults, to trust themselves, and to reinforce their beliefs in life and love.

The filming of the movie was carried out in a middle school to realistically reflect the school environment and the lives of young people.
