Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Tanjiro Kamado's life changes completely after he loses his family in a brutal demon attack. After this tragic event, his only surviving sibling, his younger sister Nezuko, has turned into a demon. However, Nezuko has not completely lost her humanity, which both surprises and gives Tanjiro hope. His determination to turn his sister back into a human pushes Tanjiro to join the Demon Hunters, an elite group of warriors who fight demons.
The film tells the story of Tanjiro’s physical and spiritual growth, as well as his discovery of the dark truths behind the powerful demons he encounters and the process of people becoming demons. Tanjiro’s kindness and determination have a profound effect not only on his enemies, but also on his allies and even on the demons themselves.
Nezuko’s conflict between her human and demon nature offers emotional moments to the audience. Their journey is also joined by funny but brave allies such as Zenitsu and Inosuke. Together, this team fights demons on different missions and complements each other. Throughout the film, viewers feel right in the middle of the action with magnificent fight scenes, breathtaking animation quality and impressive music. Tanjiro’s struggle to find the demon who killed his family and save Nezuko deeply affects the audience.
