Germán's Last Line
Germán Oesterheld is the author of a work called Eternauta and applies for a new job at the most productive Argentine publisher of that period. This publisher presents the comic books in a simple and flat style, where bad kids are always Indians, Cubans, or aliens. When Germán arrives, a revolution begins among the publisher's writers and comic book drivers because they are impressed and envious of the newcomer teacher. The military dictatorship government rules the streets and everywhere, even in the publisher's building, things and relationships start to change and Germán has to hide to express his thoughts.
The film takes the viewer into a deep understanding of Germán's life, his writing career, and how the world around him changed. It tells about the difficulties Germán experienced and how the pressure of the dictatorship government felt.
The film was shot in Argentina.
