"Beyond the North" is a gripping story about a young Inuk woman's journey to recreate her life. After a sudden and very public exit from a marriage, the woman wants to build her own future. However, this will not be easy in a small Arctic town where everyone knows what everyone else is doing.
Our main character is faced with the struggle to reinvent herself and leave the past behind in this town where everyone knows each other. Her story offers the audience a story of courage, hope and personal transformation. As the audience watches the obstacles she faces during this difficult process and how she overcomes them, they will find themselves in this story.
