"The Old Folks' Home" focuses on the story of a group of elderly people living in a nursing home. The people living in this nursing home have stories filled with pains, joys, and disappointments they experienced in their past. These people, each with a different character and story, come together as a result of an accident that occurred in the nursing home. This accident brings them even closer and forces them to act together. The residents of the nursing home confront both their inner worlds and each other in this process. Meanwhile, we also witness the stories of the staff of the nursing home and their families. The film shows viewers the challenges encountered at every stage of life and how these challenges can be overcome. The shooting was done in a real nursing home, which increased the realism of the film. Viewers get a better chance to understand the difficulties faced by the elderly while watching the film.
