The Simpsons
A fun and crazy animated series, The Simpsons is considered a parody of typical American life. The story revolves around the Simpson family living in a town called Springfield. The family consists of father Homer, mother Marge, trouble-making son Bart, gifted daughter Lisa and their quiet baby Maggie. Homer works as a security guard at a nuclear power plant and always gets into trouble. Marge is a patient and understanding housewife who is devoted to her family. While Bart is a child who always gets into trouble, Lisa tends to be the conscience and voice of the family. Little Maggie, although she does not speak, is an important part of the family. The series has hosted many celebrities over the years and has become a popular culture icon by satirizing American life, media and politics.
Where Filmed: Since The Simpsons is an animation, there is no specific filming location. However, the series' design and animation work is done in America.
