Charlie, a 20-year-old finance student, returns to the family farm in Virginia to help her sick mother, Laura. Laura is running a chicken farm and has a different perspective on life. After a long time, Laura's mother and Charlie's grandmother, Solange, comes to the farm. When Solange left America, Laura was still a child and so they have seen each other very little. Solange is a French, feminist, and eccentric woman. Now these three different women have to learn to live under the same roof. The film captures the audience's attention by presenting funny and touching moments together. The film offers a remarkable look at motherhood, family, and generational differences.
