At first glance, Carag seems like a normal child, but he harbors a tremendous secret: he is a shape-shifter. He grew up in the wild as a cougar, but now he's a teenager living among humans. Forced to hide his true identity, Carag finally finds a sense of belonging when he is admitted to the secretive Clearwater High. A shy bison named Brandon and a mischievous red squirrel named Holly quickly become his friends. However, the world of the Woodwalkers is full of dangers, and Carag needs his friends to survive in this new and unknown world.
