"The Rookie: Le Flic de Los Angeles" tells the story of 40-year-old John Nolan, who wants to reshape his life. Nolan, who works in the construction industry in a small town, decides to try his childhood dream of becoming a police officer after a dangerous incident during a robbery. Joining the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Nolan is separated from the other rookie officers due to his older age. Under the guidance of training officer Talia Bishop, he both fights dangers on the streets full of crime and tries to improve his relationships with his younger colleagues.
