Four Quarters

"Four Quarters" focuses on the life of Masha, a senior student. Masha was hoping to lead a quiet life and graduate with a gold medal. However, a love she can't control overturns all her plans. The target of her love is her classmate and a young sculptor, Zhenya. As new friends and enemies enter Masha's life, conflicts of families and school also become part of the story. Masha, fully trusting Zhenya, who is an idealist and maximalist, tries to build an adult life with him before finishing school.

The film impressively narrates the emotional conflicts of the youth and their struggles to cope with life. Masha's character realistically reflects a young girl's experiences of love and life.
