In a restaurant in New York, a situation where money is stolen from the cash register creates intense pressure on the chefs.


Lunchtime is extremely busy at "The Grill", a bustling restaurant in the heart of Manhattan. At this venue serving thousands of customers, it is understood that money has been stolen from the cash register and all employees are being questioned. Most of the employees are undocumented immigrants and are tightly bound to this job to survive. Among them, Pedro, a young and dreamy Mexican, is in love with American waitress Julia, but there are difficulties in establishing a relationship with an undocumented immigrant. The restaurant owner, Rashid, has promised to help Pedro with his documents. However, after the money is stolen from the cash register, Pedro becomes the main suspect, and this situation triggers an event that will stop the bustling kitchen operations of the restaurant. The film is based on Arnold Wesker's famous theater play. The film presents the audience with an emotional story and a look at the difficulties of real life.
