Happy Face
Inspired by a true story, "Happy Face" tells the story of Melissa Reed, the daughter of a serial killer known as Keith Jesperson and nicknamed the "Happy Face Killer". Melissa, who has had no contact with her father for many years, finds her world turned upside down when her father suddenly returns to her life. Faced with the danger of an innocent man being executed for a crime her father committed, Melissa tries to prevent this situation. In the process, she is forced to confront her own identity about who she is and who she wants to be. While the film takes its viewers on a tense journey, it also deals with universal themes such as family ties, identity and justice.
